Prototype Planning Engineer (multiple openings) - Provide critical path planning and scheduling services on prototype manufacturing facilities for diesel engine components; analyze manufacturing resource requirements and related costs, for automotive engineering development, prototyping and production; develop engineering program plans, including complex automotive manufacturing timing plans; develop automotive engineering plans, communicate to project teams and obtain management commitment for implementation; and use MS-Office, AutoCAD 2D, MS Project, Access database, PowerPoint and other Windows based software applications. Req’s. 4 years experience in the job offered or 4 years experience in an alternate occupation as a Prototype Engineer or Project Engineer. Will accept any equally suitable combination of education, training and/or experience which would qualify an applicant to perform the duties of the job offered.
